resolve legal disputes before they go to trial.Mediation is a process in which a neutral third party assists communication between parties, and tries to help them arrive at a settlement agreement. The mediator will assist in identifying issues and help explore solutions, in hopes that the parties can resolve the issues between themselves, instead of letting a judge or jury impose a resolution. Mediation is a form of Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) that is being used more and more to resolve legal disputes.George Shea is available to serve as a mediator in any civil case except divorce or child custody matters.
