Sharon Snodgrass received her law degree from the
University of Detroit
in 1979 and is a member of the Michigan State Bar. Sharon also holds a
bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and a master's degree
from Eastern Michigan University. In 2005 Sharon completed the Estate
Planning Certificate Program co-sponsored by the Probate and Estate
Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
Over the years Ms. Snodgrass has provided legal
services for a wide
variety of client needs, including estate planning, probate, estate
administration, real estate transactions, tax abatements, zoning
matters, EDC bond issues, business formations, contracts, and
securities law. Presently her practice is concentrated in real estate,
estate planning, probate and estate administration.
Prior to practicing law with Creighton McLean
& Shea PLC. Sharon was a mathematics teacher in Northville High
School,
Northville, Michigan, a Vice President and Trust Officer of Comerica
Bank, Detroit, Michigan and President of the International Women's Club
of Valencia, Venezuela.
Sharon was born in Detroit and attended Cooley
High School. Her
first work experiences were at Strathmoor Lanes, her parents' bowling
alley at Schoolcraft and Grand River in Detroit.
Active in many community organizations, including
past Chairperson of the Dearborn YMCA and a Director of the Livonia
YMCA. Sharon currently serves as a Trustee for Pewabic Society of
Detroit. She is a member of the Michigan State Bar Probate Section, the
Financial and Estate Planning Council of Metropolitan Detroit and the
Women's Bar Association.
