Marcella (Marcy) Groulx has been a Legal Assistant with Creighton McLean & Shea PLC since 1991. She holds a B.S. in Legal Assistant Studies from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan and a B.A. in Spanish Education from the College of St. Rose in Albany, New York. A native of Utica, New York, Marcy taught Spanish in upstate New York and Massachusetts before moving to the Detroit area.

Her major responsibilities are in estate and trust administration, working as a liaison with clients, assisting with the gathering and transferring of assets, preparing fiduciary accounts, drafting pleadings for estates, guardianships and conservatorships. Marcy is a member of the Wayne County Probate Bar Association.

Married and the mother of two daughters, Marcy is an active volunteer at St. Priscilla Parish. She dabbles at calligraphy and sewing and enjoys reading.
